Meditation
Meditation, another way of mind relaxation, is a healing method and is used to reduce stress in life. It helps to cope with stress and also increases productivity and creativity. Meditation is known to some people as belief. But meditation has been scientifically proven and it is an application where the body, mind and soul are healing at the same time. People who start meditating to overcome stress, which is the cause of many diseases, benefit greatly in the treatment of their diseases.
Meditation Types
There are 7 types of meditation that people can use to deal with stress.
The first type is simple sound meditation based on mantras. Mantra, for example, is the voice of “ommm” which is the most common word used in meditation. These mind-vibrating sounds, which are used to remove the person from the moment they are present, save him from falling into thoughts during meditation. Although mantras are thought by people as fake sounds, they are all sacred sounds that have a meaning.
The second type, vipassana meditation, is referred to as insight meditation. It enables people to see events in their pure form, without judgment and as they are. Nasal breathing is the focus on identifying thoughts and emotions without judgment.
The meditation already called zen by some people focuses on breathing. The biggest difference that can be shown for those who compare Vipassana meditation; vapussana is due to nose meditation but zen focuses on abdominal movements. Sitting flat is essential for Zen meditation, and while doing so, the chin should come down, hands placed on the abdomen. Zen, who teaches to see thoughts of the mind, then leaves them freely.
Metta meditation in Tibetan buddhism is called good. It is a positive meditation type that includes kindness, compassion, and compassion. It teaches to accept both self and others as they are.
Kundalini meditation, one of the most known types of meditation, aims to awaken the mind. Unlike the others, the energy of this type of meditation with songs is located in the lumbar region and focuses on most of the spine. Mantras are also used in this type, where enlightenment can be achieved after further progress. It is a fun application for people who find meditation boring.
Another most well known type of meditation is chakra meditation. It focuses on feeling chakras, which are energy centers scattered throughout the body and throughout the body.
The last type of meditation teaches tonglen meditation not to run away from negative. For those who try to escape from it in every difficult situation they encounter and thus have more difficulties, tonglen meditation aims to accept the pain, to connect with it and to learn how to get rid of it.
